Clit Suckers & Suction Vibrators
In short: a clit sucker, also called a suction vibrator, sucking vibrator or air-pulse toy, has a soft mouth that sits over the clitoris and pulses air in and out, so you feel a rhythmic pulling sensation instead of direct buzzing. We stock thirteen, from compact suction-only toys to designs that add a licking tongue, internal stimulation or a wearable fit. Every one is rechargeable and ships in plain packaging. Our best-sellers are the Honey Pistil and the Flower Dance Carnival 4, which both pair suction with a licking tongue.
What is a clit sucker?
A clit sucker is a clitoral toy built around a small air chamber instead of a vibrating tip. You place its opening over the clitoris, and a pump inside raises and lowers the air pressure in waves, gently drawing in and releasing. Because the toy does not have to rub or press against you, many people find the sensation more focused than a regular vibrator, and some prefer it when direct vibration feels too sharp. Shops also call these toys suction vibrators, sucking vibrators, air-pulse toys or clitoral suction stimulators; all of these names describe the same idea.
How does a suction vibrator work?
The opening forms a light seal around the clitoral glans. A small motor then drives the pump, so the pressure inside the chamber rises and falls in a steady rhythm. Each setting changes how strong those pulses are and how they are spaced, from smooth, rolling waves to short bursts. A thin layer of water-based lubricant on the rim helps the seal, which is why the same toy can feel stronger or softer depending on how it sits. Several of our models add a second function, such as a licking tongue or internal vibration, and on the Honey Pistil and Flower Dance Carnival 4 each function has its own control, so you can use one or both at once.
Four types of clit sucker
Suction only
One job, done well. The Strawberry is a palm-sized sucker with six intensity levels and two patterns, weighs about 102 g and is rated IPX7. The Cupid's Heart has a heart-shaped mouth with seven suction frequencies and runs for 131 to 153 minutes per charge (IPX6). The Snow Peak pairs seven suction patterns with eight RGB light modes, so it can sit on a bedside table as a night light (IPX7).
Suction plus a licking tongue
These hybrids put a suction mouth and a soft tongue in one head. The Honey Pistil has nine licking settings, three suction patterns and a long-suction mode (IPX6). The Flower Dance Carnival 4 hides nine licking, nine vibration and four suction settings inside a rose, with a separate button for each (IPX6). The Lip Kiss is lip-shaped, with licking, vibration and four suction patterns, and the Kiss Box combines a tongue, vibration and four suction settings in a gift-box design with its own lid. For more licking styles, see our tongue vibrator collection.
Suction plus internal stimulation
For internal and external stimulation at the same time. The PUPU Cloud has a split-body design, with suction on the outside and a separately controlled internal vibration motor, and is rated at 49 dB or less (IPX7). The Sandra combines a bendable vibrating shaft, a licking arm and four suction patterns (IPX7). The Joanna gives tapping, vibration and suction three intensities and six patterns each (IPX7). The Linglong adds a thrusting shaft with rotating beads and a suction head with replaceable caps (IPX7), and the 5-in-1 Thrusting Vibrator offers nine thrusting, nine vibration and nine suction patterns with interchangeable heads.
Wearable suction
The Shell is a shell-shaped wearable with suction, vibration and tapping, controlled by a wireless remote. Its noise rating of 48 dB or less is the lowest listed in this collection, and it is rated IPX7.
How to choose a clit sucker
- Sensation. New to suction? Start with a suction-only toy such as the Strawberry or Cupid's Heart. If you already know you like licking, a hybrid such as the Honey Pistil or Flower Dance Carnival 4 gives you both.
- External or blended. Suction-only toys, tongue hybrids and the Shell are external. The PUPU Cloud, Sandra, Joanna, Linglong and 5-in-1 add internal stimulation.
- Water. IPX7 models (Strawberry, PUPU Cloud, Snow Peak, Shell, Sandra, Joanna, Linglong) can be submerged. IPX6 models (Honey Pistil, Flower Dance Carnival 4, Kiss Box, Cupid's Heart) are splash-proof and should only be rinsed.
- Noise. Manufacturer ratings run from 48 dB or less (Shell) and 49 dB or less (PUPU Cloud) up to about 58 dB for the larger hybrids. Our quiet vibrator guide ranks the quietest options.
- Battery. Rated runtimes range from about 45 minutes to over two hours per charge. Cupid's Heart (131 to 153 minutes), Joanna (112 to 137 minutes) and Snow Peak (120 to 135 minutes) have the longest rated runtimes. All of them charge by USB, most with a magnetic cable.
How to use a clit sucker
- Step 1: Charge it fully before the first use. Many models do not run while charging.
- Step 2: Add water-based lubricant to the rim of the opening. It helps the mouth seal and keeps the sensation smooth; our Sage & Aloe lubricant is water-based and safe for silicone toys.
- Step 3: Place the opening over the clitoris so it covers the glans, without pressing hard. A light seal is enough.
- Step 4: Start on the lowest setting and move up slowly, because suction can feel intense very quickly.
- Step 5: Adjust the angle if the feeling fades. Tilting the head slightly or easing the pressure usually brings it back.

Cleaning and care
After each use, wash the mouth and the area around it with warm water and a mild toy cleaner, because lubricant collects inside the opening. Rinse IPX6 models under the tap instead of submerging them, dry everything fully, and put the dust cap back on if your model has one. Use only water-based lubricant on silicone, never boil a rechargeable toy, and do not charge it while it is wet.
Clit sucker FAQ
Is a clit sucker the same as a suction vibrator?
Yes. Clit sucker, suction vibrator, sucking vibrator, air-pulse toy and clitoral suction stimulator are different names for the same type of toy: one that stimulates the clitoris with pulses of air pressure through a small mouth instead of direct vibration.
Are clit suckers good for beginners?
Yes, as long as you start on the lowest setting. A suction-only toy such as the Strawberry or Cupid's Heart has one sensation to learn and simple controls. If suction feels too intense at first, use a little more lubricant and hold the toy more lightly.
What is the difference between a clit sucker and a regular vibrator?
A regular vibrator passes buzzing through direct contact. A clit sucker creates a pulling, pulsing sensation with air pressure, so it stimulates without rubbing. Many people find suction more intense and more targeted; others like to combine both, which is why several of our clit suckers also have a vibration function.
Which clit sucker is the quietest?
The Shell has the lowest noise rating in this collection at 48 dB or less, followed by the PUPU Cloud at 49 dB or less and the Strawberry at 52 dB or less. Most tongue-and-suction hybrids are rated between 55 and 58 dB.
Can I use a clit sucker in the bath or shower?
In the shower, every IPX6 or IPX7 model is fine. In the bath, only IPX7 models can go underwater: the Strawberry, PUPU Cloud, Snow Peak, Shell, Sandra, Joanna and Linglong. The Honey Pistil, Flower Dance Carnival 4, Kiss Box and Cupid's Heart are IPX6, so rinse them but do not submerge them. The Lip Kiss is rated IPX7 only when switched off, and the 5-in-1 has no published waterproof rating. Check the Specifications tab on each product page.
Do I need lube with a clit sucker?
It is not required, but a little water-based lubricant on the rim helps the mouth seal and makes the sensation smoother. Avoid silicone-based lubricant on silicone toys, because it can damage the surface.
